A group from CaMEO went to lead singing at Phil's People Christmas Party- a care in the community group held at St. Philip's Church.

A small group from CaMEO went to lead some singing at Phil’s People- a care in the community group, that meet monthly at St. Philip’s Church. The group is made up of people from across the local community, including individuals with mental illness, learning disabilities and life issues such as homelessness or drug addiction.

We joined them for their Christmas Party, which included a 3 course meal served by a local scout pack and crackers of course! A trombone trio provided the music in between courses and CaMEO lead the post-dinner singing, singing traditional carols, cheesy Christmas tune and also took requests from the group. There was a real sense of community, with the scouts joining with the carol singing at the end of the night, creating a really festive atmosphere to finish off the evening.
